Before I met Katie I had been to 13 closings. I had dealt with several realtors in multiple states. This listing was very different for me on many levels... When I contacted Katie to see what her EOV would be, she was at my home that day! She said the exact amount I thought the house was worth - as soon as she walked in the door. I knew she was going to be my realtor and signed the contracts that afternoon... Our closing was unusual as it was during the pandemic… Katie stayed calm, informative, reassuring and professional while I cried to her. Honestly, I believe that realtors need to have that ability to connect with and calm agitated clients. Part realtor, part counselor, part friend makes for a great business relationship. For me anyway - I don't think everyone wants that but I sure do. Katie helped us buy 24 acres of land near Mancos, CO. She had been helping us look for land for a few months and was very patient with us the whole time. One day she recommended we check out a piece of land that we might have overlooked on paper but when we went to see it we knew right away that this was the one.
